Advice Resort is a company that fills a particular niche. Working with financial planners to coordinate collaborations with financial specialists to suit their clients, Advice Resort was looking for a quality B2B website for their services.
When you see a financial planner, they don’t always know your specific needs. Advice resort connects financial planners to specialists to help them create the perfect plan for their clients.
Advice Resort creators started the project with another designer, but the results didn’t fill the needs. They came to Idea Maker with a partially complete project and more problems than solutions.

After consulting with Advice Resort, Idea Maker was able to rescue the project and fulfill the client’s needs to create a collaborative platform to conduct business on. Once the project was complete, Advice Resort had a fully functioning website that surpassed the client’s expectations. The client’s features on their wishlist that the previous designer could not complete were made easy with Idea Maker.

Advice Resort can set up consultation meetings between clients and specialists with the new comprehensive website, coordinate custom financial plans for clients, and track reports. Further, the new website created a platform for payment processing and secure file transfers between customers and specialists.

What We Did
Custom WordPress Dashboards for Multiple User Roles
Idea Maker coded a custom back office dashboard and a customer-side dashboard for multiple functions. Using WordPress as the base gives the website more flexibility to be adjusted for growth in the future.
Back Office for Specialists
In the back office dashboard created for the finance specialists, users can view custom plan requests, upload client plans confidentially, and view and print reports.
Customer Portal
The customer portal allows consultation meetings, plan requests, and plan printing options from within the dashboard.
Payment Processing
Using WooCommerce and Stripe, the payment processing features of this website build is secure and backed. WooCommerce is a WordPress widget with high reviews and was the best fit for our client’s needs. Stripe allowed the payments to be processed and securely sent between the site and the accounting team for the business.
