The Problem
Our client, a startup consultant, approached us with a system he built to manage investments. The application could also be used to determine when a business was ready to present itself to potential investors. However, because the system was made for his own use and not packaged for public consumption, our client asked us to help change this.
Our Solution
After reviewing our client’s existing system, we reverse-engineered the core features and worked to understand the additional features the client required. We then built an intuitive and user-friendly application, complete with payment portals and a “readiness” calculator, that streamlines the startup investment process.
What We Did
Investor and Business Portals
We built separate portals for both businesses and investors, allowing users to create profiles and effortlessly connect with one another. As a result, when businesses have inputted all their details and are ready for investment, investors can simply login and find their profiles. We also integrated payment processing functionality to facilitate easy investment.
Intuitive Dashboard
We created a user-friendly dashboard where businesses can input their essential information for investors to view at a later time. From the dashboard, businesses can also see an overview of their startup health and readiness for investment.
Readiness Assessment
The readiness assessment ultimately determines whether a business is ready to approach investors. If the assessment confirms investment readiness, it means that a business is more likely to succeed in gaining funding. The formula for this assessment was provided by the client, but implemented by our team of experts.
