The Problem
Mileage Quest is an iOS app allowing users to track their vehicle mileage for leisure and business purposes. Then, at the end of the year, they can hand off a mileage report to their accountant for tax deductions. Trouble is, the app was initially developed by a team of inexperienced and unreliable developers, leaving it with various bugs and no backend. Mileage Quest hired Idea Maker to salvage the project.
Our Solution
After we took over Mileage Quest’s project, we identified several errors within the app’s codebase, causing it to crash frequently. There were also several UI problems. Our team worked diligently to find and fix the cause of these errors while also building a solid backend interface to allow cross-device data sharing.
What We Did
Bug Fixes
The Mileage Quest iOS app was facing regular crashes. Our team of experts diagnosed and fixed this issue. The app is now stable and running smoothly.
User Interface Updates
Initially, there were several glitchy and awkwardly placed UI elements that hindered the overall user experience. Our team of UI/UX designers analyzed and updated the mobile app’s design to reflect professional UI/UX principles.
Backend Development
We build a reliable backend server framework that means when users switch devices, their data is still accessible. Before Idea Maker’s intervention, data was only stored on the user’s device, making transferring information difficult.
